Failed attempt to update BIOS on 16 Ryzen AI 300

Tried to up date from 04.01, 6/12/26 to BIOS 4.05. After downloading the update bundle got a message that said it was not for my machine. Is a BIOS update available for this machine and what if so, what is it?

You’ve also tagged your post with ‘amd-7040’ (which some of us follow because that’s what we have) but are using the ai-300 mainboard :-1:

4.01 is (currently) the latest version for the Ryzen AI 300 series.

Whereas the latest version for the Ryzen 7040 series is (currently) 4.05.

Hi.
Double check you have the correct bios downloaded.
Some people have made the mistake so it is easy to make.
