Sounds silly, but I’m not much of a gamer. I just play fortnite maybe once a week with my siblings and cousins, and I really want to get that locked in 165fps. The framework 7840HS struggles to have consistent high FPS.
I’m considering getting an eGPU, an OcuLink option, the 7700s or the 5070 module, or even selling my Framework. Of course I’m not just selling it because of gaming, but also because I’m getting a company laptop, and no longer need a personal laptop as much. Though if I can improve performance of the framework, without breaking the bank, such as getting consistent 165fps at 1200p or so, then I’d love to consider that depending on costs of graphics options.
What kind of performance do you guys get in fortnite?
