Framework 16 DIY Edition For Sale

I’m selling my Framework 16 DIY Edition laptop. After reconsidering the cost of the device and my upcoming tuition expenses, I decided that selling the laptop is in my best interest. The laptop is in like-new condition with all original packaging. However, from the factory, the front plate where the trackpad sits is slightly uneven, similar to what I’ve seen reported on Reddit.

Wow, you are asking more than someone would pay for that configuration brand new (before taxes)! Good luck!

Hello,

The configuration listed is actually over $2,400 with tax not including the 2TB Samsung M.2 SSD that is another $160 before taxes. Little over $200 off sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Below is a picture of my original invoice.

Not sure if there’s warranty for the buyer though.

Warranty from who… Laptop is basically brand-new I just received it in May. With the being said yes the original Framework warranty is still good.

Not sure if the warranty is transferable.

I searched through Frameworks KB articles and read the warranty. I found no information starting that the warranty is non-transferable. If your looking for more information on this I would recommend reaching out to their support desk.

if the OG owner’s laptop has warranty, the support/part replacement team will honor it.

Thanks for clarifying. Think that will need to be updated into the warranty policy beyond just a forum post?

what I said does not really go against our warranty policy.

It doesn’t go against it. But it adds a layer of clarity, one that isn’t current there, IMO.

I think Second_Coming is right this ambiguous language is not clear, to me the warranty reads as non transferable.
