I face a very similar problem to the one mentioned here: Framework 13 AI 300 Series won’t resume most of the time

Everything runs fine, but any time the system is suspended it stays that way: power button pulsating and the battery is drained like it is not suspended at all. However it can not be resumed either by keyboard, touchpad or power button. The only thing that works is pushing the power button long enough to restart the laptop - or waiting for the battery to drain. Switching to another terminal does not work either.
Running systemctl suspend reproduces the problem all the time.

I installed Windows 11 and it does not exhibit the same problems, it can sleep and hibernate - and return from these states as well.

In other threads I see that it can be caused by the Mushkin RAM. So is there something I could try? Switching to Debian maybe? A kernel downgrade? Switching the RAMs (this is the option I would do last at the moment)? Raise a bug somewhere (Framework, Fedora, KDE)?

I would save yourself a lot of time and frustration and just try different RAM. I’m the OP of the post your referenced and I wish I had been given this advice.

If you’re in Europe or have access to Amazon, you can easily return the RAM if it doesn’t fix the problem but I’m almost certain it will.

Thank you, I am considering this as well , but I’ve bought my RAM from a local business and they do not have anything similar right now in stock.

OK, can confirm: it works fine with Crucial CT48G56C46S5 (CT2K48G56C46S5) RAM. Should raise a ticket somewhere to fix the knowledgebase article about the Mushkin module.

Thank you @merxutio again!
