Humm, my AMD Ryzen 300 FW13 has newer drivers, which were updated by the AMD Software updater.

Just out of curiosity, but can anyone at the Framework team comment on the benefits that these updates can have? I know that my fingerprint reader sometimes doesn’t read after booting my machine. Unsure if that’s a Windows problem or related to my machine.

I don’t have this issue under Linux so I would say that it’s a Windows issue.

Does windows show any message when it cannot be recognized?

Unfortunately, no. It shows the usual login screen with the fingerprint section but when I try all my fingers it doesn’t scan. No error or anything. I end up just using my pin.

Upgrade completed successfully. And the charge limit issue appears to be resolved.

We’re releasing a new beta because Windows Hello ECC wasn’t successfully enabled in the current version. This doesn’t affect any functionality, so there’s no need to roll back if you’ve already installed it.

1.04 beta is posted.
