Framework Laptop 16 Thunderbolt 4 ports?

Trying to figure out the status of Thunderbolt 4 certification on the current Laptop 16, I find places where it’s hinted at but not actually made clear.

The USB-C Expansion card lists Thunderbolt 4 for Intel platforms, but says “on Ryzen platforms, protocols depend on the specific Expansion Card slot” - Framework | USB-C Expansion Card

The listing of which Laptop 16 slot supports what doesn’t mention thunderbolt at all - (I’d link to it but you won’t let me)

I might think that not mentioning thunderbolt means it’s not supported on any port, but I found a post that claims it is supported on some ports on the AMD Laptop 13 - Thunderbolt support on AMD Ryzen - #26 by Jonathan_Haas

And the listing of which Laptop 13 slot supports what also doesn’t mention thunderbolt, which suggests these listings don’t mention thunderbolt it even when it is supported - (I’d link to it but you won’t let me)

Does anyone know whether any and which ones of the Laptop 16 ports qualify as Thunderbolt 4 ports when used with the USB-C card?
Is there any chance of getting those listings updated to make it easy to look up?

The ports on here labeled USB4 are what you’re looking for (the back 2)

Someone else will fill in below me the “but that’s not actually thunderbolt”. Idk the details, I just know it works.

There are no Thunderbolt 4 ports on the Framework 16 or on AMD CPUs in general. The ports that are marked with USB4 on the linked page are Thunderbolt 3 compatible (but not certified by Intel), since USB4 in general is based on Thunderbolt 3.

They got pretty much full featured USB4 but are very unlikely to get a tb certification.
