Framework on Ubuntu does not reliably resume from suspension

Dear all,

I have a Framework Laptop 13 AMD with Ubuntu 22.04. Ubuntu is installed on a LUKS encrypted partition. I followed the guide to configure it and update the firmware.

The problem is that sometimes, when the laptop goes in suspension and I open the lid or press the power button to wake it up, it boots from GRUB instead of restoring the previous session.

Did anyone have similar issues? Do you have a solution?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Vaguely similar.

I had an encrypted volume on a drive and it would dismount and remount.

Some times I would then loose data, but luckily the OS wasn’t encrypted and I didn’t use suspend on my Ubuntu 22

This is probably related to [RESPONDED] Laptop crashes and reboot sometimes after resuming from suspend. I will follow that
