I saw a recent tweet about the framework_tool, thought it would be cool to use. I installed it, but it says there’s no EC… I tried reinstalling the driver bundle, but none of the items mentioned installing an EC driver (unless it’s included in the AMD chipset). Am I missing anything?
The EC driver is not yet included in the driver package for earlier Framework Laptop models than the newest AMD ones. They have stated (and I can’t figure out where, unfortunately) that they will be bringing support for this driver back to earlier laptops.
