anyone else put the new battery into a 13".12gen? Mine is on the way now with a number of upgrades I wanted also…

got an email the other day from support saying to make sure I am upgraded to the latest bios to make use of the new battery…

problem is, there has not been a bios upgrade since release for this model (excluding beta 3.06)…

I logged a ticket with support and still waiting to hear back…

anyone else in the same bucket?

Are you talking about the 61WH battery? Without the BIOS update I believe it technically works, but since the voltage and capacity is slightly higher than the 55WH battery, it won’t charge fully.

I think Framework had every intention of having the BIOS update out ages ago, but ran into issues. They are still working on it, but unfortunately, it’s not out yet.
