I have noticed 4 cracks in the bottom of my FW12.
The cracks on the bottom are in the corners around the screws. They range from tiny noticeable cracks to one of them being able to catch my fingernail moving across it. The latter being the last image. The laptop is pretty new. I got it in Jan of this year. I will not this is the laptop that I use at school so it is in my book bag a lot.

What is probably the thread with the greatest number of posts documents the FW12 enclosure cracking issue in intimidating detail. My takeaways from that thread:
- contact Framework Support (via the menu option at the top of this page) and be prepared to answer a few reasonable questions and supply photographs.
- there appears to be a stock control issue that Framework is endeavouring to understand and resolve. It might be wise to defer requesting replacement parts until that issue is confirmed to be resolved.
