Framework 16 with the 7700s GPU
I don’t see the GPU show up when I list vulkan devices
Anything else to try? I re-seated the interposer just in case. The fans on the gpu module are spinning.
What does ‘lspci’ show you?
There should be a line like this:
03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Navi 33 [Radeon RX 7700S/7600/7600S/7600M XT/PRO W7600] (rev c1)
The 03:00.0 could be a different slot in your case, depends on your configuration.
I just re-installed the OS, and it’s working now as expected. Actually didn’t need the launch option for the two steam games I’ve tested so far.
One thing I did before that I haven’t tried yet since I re-installed is to remove the dGPU and run it with the empty expanson bay for a bit, and then switch back.
