So I’m going to be real, this project sounds WAY too good to be true.
It’s an “indie” hardware product moving quantities that are a fraction of what any established big brand vendor moves. Getting a manufacturing run on this kind of thing is expensive and the logistics of getting it into people’s hands is hard.
And it’s designed to be easy to pick apart and put back together WHILE being slim. Engineering complexity that makes it harder and more expensive. laptops are a lot of glue and solder these days because it’s cheap and easy.
So, uh, how? Is this being sold at cost? Does this team have huge VC backers?? How?
