I just attempted to upgrade to WiFi 7 by installing an AMD RZ717 WiFi card. After installing the AMD RZ717 card and rebooting, my laptop comes up normally, says it is connected to my WiFi router and stays connected for from a few seconds to a minute or two. Then it disconnects, attempts to reconnect but cannot reconnect. I’ve removed the AMD RZ717 WiFi 7 card and reinstalled it, with the same results. I then removed the AMD RZ717 card and reinstalled my old WiFi card. My old card connected immediately and works fine. I have updated my BIOS using fwupdmgr.
