I have a Framework Desktop, and I’m wondering if there’s any way to use the display from a Framework Laptop 12 as an external monitor for it.
I understand that laptop displays usually don’t accept video input directly, but I wanted to ask whether Framework offers (or plans to offer) any supported solution, or if there are any practical workarounds (software-based, capture cards, display controllers, etc.).
Has anyone tried something like this, or knows if it’s feasible with Framework hardware specifically?

TL;DR: the display connector on the monitor (not the motherboard) looks like it’s a standard 30-pin eDP connector, and there are lots of inexpensive driver boards that should work for that. However, if you also want to keep the touchscreen functionality, there’s probably not a drop-in solution.
