on both sides under the macropad and the keyboard there are the pogo connectors that are not used. Can we attach modules like the LED matrix next to touchpad by having a thin flexible pcb sit between the midplate and macropad on the empty pogo connector that diverts down to where the pads are on the LED matrix if shifted? i understand will also need to work on the attachment points since it was made for the upper section of the midplate. Is the pogo sets an either/or or can both be active at same time?

Nice that we know the EC will not cause any problem if trying to use locations that shouldn’t be accessible (as far as it knows).
