I was looking at the GPU options available and noticed that first and second gen amd gpus were out of stock. So I decided to look on ebay. One was listed, and it seems a fair bit of people were viewing the auction for it. So I am wondering if there was just a weird surge in orders of the gpu, possibly due to the price of the NVIDIA GPU, which is quite high compared to the AMD unit, or if Framework is softly discontinuing the AMD gpus and has cleared inventory in order to start the sale of the updated AMD card or at least the preorders for said card.

Pretty sure they said they were going to keep stocking the AMD GPU because it’s better for Linux compatibility. The first gen definitely won’t come back in stock, but it would be strange for them to develop a second gen and then just not restock it.
