I am hoping my framework ships out on Monday.
But I hate Mondays. I’ll be too busy to keep checking. 
Feel like I am gonna miss something essential from this experience.

My laptop came in today, Setting up hardware wasn’t an issue, but I’m still working on setting up Windows. I didn’t want to start fresh so I’m cloning an old laptop drive and the cloning process to the internal drive seems to be taking a minute to even start. Any tips?

Good ole FedEx. Was supposed to receive the delivery on Saturday but it didn’t arrive. Been “IN TRANSIT” for 2 and a half days at the last step before it is delivered. Hoping for Monday now.

Idk what tool you are using for cloning but I’ve used CloneZilla for every backup and restore solution I’ve ever used it and worked perfectly every time.
Maybe give that a look if you haven’t already.

, just got the CC charge error Frome framework email a couple minutes ago. I guess my shipment will get delayed by a few days.

But if I actually get my Framework, how will I have time to speculate and wonder about all the fun things I’m going to do when I get my Framework???
Nah, but that confirmation of charge email was a pretty great way to cap off my day.
With Linux-y intentions, I’m finding it hard to make an argument against Fedora 35, coming out of beta into full release itself in just a couple of days, what with the coordination between them and Framework, and the reports from the beta saying everything important is working out of the box.
I cannot wait and look forward to spending more time in the community.

That’s so unfortunate mate! Check that with the Support team, I’m sure they’ll sort you out. You’re most probably not the first one getting that sort of issue.

Got my “Your order is shipping soon” message at 1:30 this morning. But gmail very “helpfully” decided that it shouldn’t be in my inbox and I missed it.
So the timeline would be:
Ordered Sept 20th
“Preparing to ship”: Oct 15th
“Your order is shipping soon:”: Oct 18th
Which I hope means its here by the end of the week or early next

Today marks one month since I pre-ordered mine haha. Got charged last week but it still hasn’t shipped… I also have little faith in FedEx, they recently delayed a package by two weeks even though it’s only a 20 minutes drive to the south.
It came in yesterday! I’ve got Pop!_OS on my main drive, and I have a secondary NVMe with Windows 11 on it for school apps like Respondus and MS Office.

Loving my Framework! I’ve taken this thing apart so many times now haha. I hope you all get your laptops soon!!
Update - I also put on a Matte screen protector from ViaScreens, and I’m very glad they included two since I really botched the first one.

Has anyone with a card charge from 14 Oct gotten a shipment notification yet? Still haven’t seen anything beyond getting charged 
It’s a mid i7 model, if that makes any difference.
