OpenMandriva is dnf based and everything except the fingerpint scanner worked out of the box, to include hibernation configured through the installer. Suspend works flawlessly as well.
Just wanted to share the good news here. I am running Rock 5.0 which is their stable LTS like release.
I know a few who are running Rome, which is their rolling release.
Rock 6 is getting ready to be released as well.
It is KDE based, but Gnome, Sway, Hyprland, i3, etc. all work on it without issue as well.
