Pressure–airflow curves for Framework Laptop 13 stock coolers

I am designing a rack enclosure with exhaust ducts for Framework Laptop 13 mainboards. I want to check whether the stock cooling fans can move enough air through the ducts.

Does Framework (or anyone else?) have pressure–airflow curves for the stock fan and heatsink assemblies on these boards?

  • 11th Gen Intel: Core i7-1185G7
  • 12th Gen Intel: Core i7-1280P
  • AMD Ryzen 7040: Ryzen 7 7840U

Ideally, I need airflow in CFM or m³/h versus available static pressure at the heatsink exhaust in Pa, with the fan RPM stated. A curve at maximum fan speed would be a useful start.

If full curves are unavailable, the following information would also be very helpful:

  • Airflow with no external outlet restriction.
  • Maximum static pressure at zero airflow.
  • The RPM for those values.
  • Fan part numbers and manufacturer datasheets.

If the data is available, please indicate whether the data describes the bare fan or the complete fan and heatsink assembly. The heatsink adds resistance, so data for the complete assembly would be most useful.

hmmm interesting. i did not try out anything with laptop version, but i am meddling with the 395+ motherboard. physically, i count the fins, measure the dimensions, thickness, etc, and run many iterations (claude / chatgpt/ qwen etc) to find the air friction, etc variables. i get some estimates done. i get the fan parameters, and so i can try and gauge the heat removal capacity. needs many hours of work and some understanding of fluid dynamics basics, most important is that it was fun for me
