PTM pad sizing guide

So I’ve just bought some PTM pad, as I do have issues that may or may not the thermals related and I missed the window of opportunity to get some from Framework. Now the pad I bought obviously isn’t sized for the 7040 SoC of the FW16. Does anybody happen to know the dimensions? Sadly their own sizing guide is broken, as it doesn’t actually have any clickable elements, and even after telling the support team, they plain-out refuse to fix this with the words

At the moment, there are no official guides available for replacing the thermal pad on the Framework Laptop 16. We also don’t have a confirmed timeline for when such documentation will be published.

This makes no sense whatsoever, but that’s how things are.

Just cover the shiny bit, it’s not that deep.

Also put the tpm in the fridge before applying, makes it a lot easier to peel the foil off without it falling appart.

Exactly. For all I can tell the PTM pads FW has sent out where already sized correctly.
