I am planning to order my framework laptop and currently I am thinking about buying Crucial RAM (CT2K16G56C46S5) or Kingston (KF556S40IBK2-32) for my build. It is even mentioned on your web page as “Limited Validation”. Can I ask what that means? Will there be any limitations?
I’m using that exact Crucial SKU and haven’t ran into any issues in the 3+ months I have owned my machine.
Limited validation means that Framework haven’t fully tested it to the extent that they could guarantee it’s compatibility.
