Release version: Fedora Workstation release 43 (Forty Three)
Kernel: 6.18.9-200.fc43.x86_64
BIOS: 03.05
Desktop: Gnome Wayland
Model: AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series
Scaling is Default with 200%
Display: Framework 2.8 Display
Issue:
I seem to get rendering artifacts when using Fedora Gnome Wayland with 200% scaling in the 2.8K display. This occurs on the odd time however appears frequently enough to be noticeable. When I hover my mouse over the digits if forces Gnome to redraw and the issue goes away. It appears again over time. Example area are digits particularly the Gnome Panel Clock.
This does not happen if I use my external Monitor which leads me to believe it might be something to do with scaling in Gnome along with the 2.8K display.
I’ve included images, display screenshot do not capture as it forces Gnome to redraw. Notice the pixel lines between the digits (e.g. the 6 in the clock digit has traces of 5, which goes away if I hover my mouse).
Is this occurring to anyone else? Does anyone know what the problem might be?
