As I said before, I love this concept. Not only that, re-using old parts that you upgraded with faster sparks a lot of idea’s for the old parts as a case mod project. ( A hobby of mine) For instance, I have been wanting to make a portable mini file server and / plex server in an interesting shape.
I usually make 3d drawings to workout my projects. The framework laptop is not available in europe yet so I cant buy and measure the parts out.
Would someone of the framework team or someone who owns one be able to model the components out? Not chip by chip, just basic component shapes and dimensions, where the screw holes are, connector places and airflow/ventilation spots.
If I have that I can turn on the tap and let the creative juices flow.
Would that be possible?
