Same here. The RAM and M2 drive for it have been waiting on my desk for a while.
Same, arriving tomorrow. I’m wondering if it all needed to be together before they released for delivery. Either way glad it’s moving now
So, mine sat in Memphis for 18 hours after release. Now it’s in Phoenix as of two hours ago, and they still say it will be delivered today, before noon.
Not holding my breath though, I consider FedEx to be the least reliable shipper when it comes to meeting shipping dates. I’ve gotten as many as four reschedule notices in a day, for a single package. (My favorite was a reshedule for the previous day)
Still, it’s finally getting close!
Batch 5 here (mainboard only), just got my delivery yesterday. Surprisingly, once I got the shipping email it moved very quickly to my doorstep. I just finished installing it into my laptop today, so far everything seems copacetic.
I hope the RZ717 is available on the store soon. Fortunately, in the mean time the Wi-Fi card from my old 11th Gen Intel mainboard is getting the job done without issue.
Mine arrived the next day after release before noon. It was assembled in less than 15min, and got Arch and Hyprland running in the following 45min. Super impressed with the quality. I ditched the MacBooks in 2019 for Lenovos T series and had not upgraded since, so part of it is the refresh. But great I/O is what I was after, it’s near impossible to get what I want and need and Framework made it possible!
My Batch 5 (also mainboard only) HX 370 also just arrived moments ago!
I’m torn between the excitement to upgrade, and the inertia that my 7840U dual boot is working great and I’m lazy. I plan to reinstall Win and Linux as I have new RAM and an NVMe drive so I can repurpose the old mainboard in one of those coolermaster cases. I also want one of those RZ717’s when they’re available, but can make do for now w/ the WiFi from my OG AMD 13".
Edit: Hardware upgrade complete, installing the 1st OS! Man, that WiFi adapter reconnect was a PITA.
