Samsung 2230?

Hi group,
I’ve not seen any mention of anyone using a Samsung 2230. I have the 990 Pro 2280.
It would seem to make sense to use the same make so the same SSD monitoring/admin software could be used.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this please?
Thanks.

Unfortunately, there are no consumer 2230 drives that are made by samsung. If you want, you could purchase a PM991, although those have often been harvested from other laptops. The Samsung software also may not support oem drives.

For a 2230, I would either recommend the WD SN770m (which has better software support) or the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus (Cheaper but worse software support). For the Sabrent 2230, I would not buy the q edition if you can afford the non-q one as that uses qlc instead of tlc which means slower speeds and less longevity (tbw).
