Storage Expansion Cards usable with smartphone?

Hello there,

does somebody know/can somebody test, if the Storage Expansion Cards work with a smartphone? I love the idea of being able to pop out the card and use it with a phone, be it just for file transfer or to store data in a way so that it is still easily accessible in case the laptop breaks.

I think it should work, but I’d like to check if I missed a problem with this before buying (like a power draw that’s too high for a phone to support), so I’d appreciate any feedback you can give me.

There’s no reason why it shouldn’t work, the cards should work with a phone if they follow the spec correctly.

I believe that I connected the 250 to my galaxy note 20, just to see if it worked.

As I recall, it did. I had to remove the case, though.
