Swedish Keyboard

Hi, I currently using a MacBook Air M1 and I’ll need to replace my daily driver in about 5 years when it lacks software support. I considering a Framework Laptop 13 because of its user friendliness and upgradability. However since I’m Swedish it is important to have a keyboard that supports the Swedish alfabet, which there is no option for currently. Is there any hope for such keyboard coming to this laptop in the near future?

Hi everyone, thanks for all of the feedback on the previous rounds of keyboard artwork review. We have a few more languages we’d like your eyes on double checking. I’ll add one keyboard per post to make it easier to reply to.

As to how soon it might come, no one knows. And Framework does not usually give timelines.

As another option, you could get keyboard letter decals. At least one company advertises decals made to the exact size and shape for Framework.

Keycap stickers for the clearcap options

I haven’t used them myself, but keyshorts.com has custom keyboard stickers with many options. Background color, text color, custom size & shape to fit keys exactly, multilingual sets.
