My eGPU Dock doesnt power my framework. Looking for help on how to fix this.
So I have a TH3P4L dock that sadly doesn’t work but, there were 2 ports on it. One that doesn’t have PD and one that does. Have you tried plugging in the other usb-c port?
Of course. The ports are labelled and I plugged it into the one with the PD symbol and even tried the other one. Wondering if thats an Issue of the eGPU or maybe the OS that I have. I should probably install windows on an external drive or something like that to test out if it charges on windows.
I don’t think the OS would stop PD from working. On my egpu adapter the ports aren’t labeled so I had to try both, that’s why I suggested that. Also double check the wattage of your psu to make sure it’s enough for the gpu and PD. Other than that, I don’t know how much else I could help since mine’s broken so I can’t do any troubleshooting of my own
Am using a GTX 1650 super and a Corsair SF450W PSU. I am very sure that its enough to power the framework as well as the GPU. Wondering if I should send the dock back and try getting a new but not sure if I want to wait that long.
