Yeah, something in the stack definitely isn’t prepared to handle this scenario. Even a restart of the driver doesn’t seem to be able to do the trick.
But no, it’s not related to the module, but audio via USB to a DAC in general. I think further up on this thread there are reports (including from me) that it also happens when plugging any USB DAC into one of the USB C slots (through the expansion card, but I doubt it does much more than just extending the port physically). But who knows what the cause is. As great as it is for sustainability, but a product this complex does come with its own set of challenges, especially when you’re the first to do it.
