Turn empty lower half of Framework laptop into a wireless bluetooth HID?

I recently replaced the input and bottom shell of my Framework due to some annoying dents I put in it by dropping it. Now I have a the extra components and I’m wondering if it would be feasible to adapt and connect the touchpad/keyboard ribbon cable to something like a Raspberry Pi Zero W configured to act as a Bluetooth Human Interface Device. Does anyone know anything about the ribbon cable or have thoughts about whether this could be feasible?

It’s technically doable. We’re preparing some documentation now to make that easier.

Love that Framework is assigning resources to document how various components could be modularly re-used / implemented to further extend their useful life beyond the laptop use case.
