Just wanted to report I’ve been using linux-oem-22.04d for a while without problems. I did have to slightly adjust the script from the manual setup guide that checks for newer oem kernels a bit because it hard codes kernel version 6.1 and 22.04d is 6.5
Delighted this worked for you. Yeah, the manual method is not idea and we recommend the automatic method as it will actually alert you when the kernel falls out of fashion and provides a path to correcting.
I’m a little confused about how to interpret the tlp-stat -g output - on my Framework 13th gen Intel CPU running Ubuntu 22.04, which min and max lines do I pay attention to when configuring the graphics section of tlpUI?
And is there a reason that nvme.noacpi=1
isn’t in the official battery tuning guide?
With modern kernels, you should not need to skip ACPI initialization for NVMe drives. However, if something is indicating otherwise, please let me know.
RPn vs RP0? Minimum vs Maximum.
So using the GUI, this would be done for you per the guide. We’re also looking at power states vs clock speed. Feel free to experiment, this is simply what worked best for us during testing at that time for Intel boards. AMD of course, as per the guide, we recommend using PPD.
