Unable to Upgrade Intel 11th gen BIOS to 3.20 via Bootloader

I’m unable to upgrade Intel 11th gen BIOS from 3.17 to 3.20. I am following the Help Center guide, but after completing I’m still reporting 3.17

Am I interpreting the guide incorrectly? Should’t the version say 3.20?

Are you using this mainboard inside a laptop or standalone? The 3.20 update requires a main battery to be connected.

Do you see it say BIOS 3.17 > 3.22 and that completes, or are you seeing anything different? Have you rebooted and ran the update once again? Have you contacted support?

The first time I attempted the update it seemed to succeed, but then I ran dmidecode I still see 03.17 (as shown above) .

I did try to upgrade again, but I got the following message:

Error 331: Full FW Update using same version is not allowed. Include -allowsv in command line to allow it.
Target Version “03.22”
Comparing BIOS Version “03.17”
Comparison Result: 1
Loading BIOS updates in 4 seconds

Followed by a bunch of CapsuleApp outputs with memory addresses.

And no I have not contacted support.
