One of the side metal strips is slightly bent. Please review the info & pics below and let me know if there are any questions.

Hello, I am interested in your screen. Is it still available?

Hi. Yes, still available.

Hello, is this still available

Hi. Yes, available.

Thank you!
My screen suddenly broke in class today, and if support doesn’t honour the warranty, I’ll purchase it from you.

Hi there!

I really need this one

Any chance you could ship it to Brazil? I’d be super grateful

Thanks in advance!

Is this still available? I’d like to buy if possible. Shipping within the US. Thanks!

Does the bent metal cause any issues with installation? Or will it install like normal?

Hey, sorry can’t ship internationally.

Yes, the display is available. AFAICT, the bent metal shouldn’t cause issues with installation because there’s a screw that goes into it which will hold it in place. You can also try to straighten it if you’re careful, but I don’t think that’s necessary (and might be risky as well).

Please send me a DM if interested.

Got the package and installed the display! Thanks for not scamming me :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:The bent metal ended up being a bit of a problem. I had to bend it back to get the screws to line up. But I was able to without damaging the screen. Unfortunately the metal still pushes the screen out from behind when the laptop is open, and there’s a little bit of discoloration on the display as a result (it gets a little better when the display is forced flat, but there’s still a little washout where the metal is bent behind. But it closes with no problem, and I’m hoping that the more it’s closed, the metal will eventually bend back into position. Attaching pics so you can see.

Looks like I underestimated the effort that’d go into installing the display with the bent metal :downcast_face_with_sweat:. I’m glad you got it working (for the most part). I’m mostly happy that the display found a new home instead of ending up as e-waste.

Thanks for not scamming me :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Haha, it’s generally safe transacting with people over the internet if they have been around their community long enough and have good reputation. I actually purchased my Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 board right on this forum! I have also had great success transacting on Reddit following the same principle.
