Hi, my Framework 12 arrived the other day and I’ve noticed that its USB-A expansion cards are not working. I’ve got two of them and neither work regardless of the port I put them in. I’m using Windows 11, and I’ve installed the most recent set of Framework 12 drivers, but that didn’t fix anything.
The other two expansion cards I bought, a USB-C and HDMI, are both working perfectly fine in all ports.
Any help would be appreciated.
Weird, they work fine for me without any special drivers.
Maybe the issue is the USB-A device you’re trying to plug in? Have you tested different devices?
Yeah I’ve tried a few devices (a couple of mice and a couple of chargers), doesn’t even seem to be any power getting to them
Mine is working fine. You need to tell Framework.
When the 13 first came out I had one, and the HDMI didn’t work. So it had to go back.
It sounds like there is a problem on your motherboard. Tell them, and they will be able to swap your 12 for another one. Where all the ports work.
