My desktop was working fine last night, but this morning when I turned it on anything plugged into the back via USB glowed as if it was connected, but didn’t send any data. Including keyboard, mouse, and USB storage.
The USB Expansion Card I have connected to the front still works though.
How do I fix this?
Most likely you hit [WORKAROUND] xHCI host controller not responding at resume after suspend
You can make sure by simply rebooting. If the ports work fine after a reboot, it probably was the issue about suspend/resume. The big clue is that it affects the back USB ports.
I’m not sure what that is, but that must have been it. When I booted it up today it seems to be working. So I’m confused but no longer have an issue.
