Wireless XBOX 360 Adapter Causes Panic Shutdown

This is with one of the unofficial XBOX 360 wireless adapters. It works fine on other PCs running the same distro and kernel. Syslog shows it going into a loop trying to initialize and then the laptop just shuts off. What’s interesting is that while the end result is the same regardless of which USB port I use, if I use the one plugged in to the same side as my HDMI module, it causes several syslog messages related to that in the process.

Moving the USB module to the upper left (with the laptop face up) port allowed the adapter to be properly initialized. This was still with a single module installed.

Plugged my other modules back in, and it seems as long as I’m using that specific port for the USB module, it intializes. However, this time, it also caused the touchpad to stop functioning.

Changed my module configuration again, and so far, no more errors. Final configuration with laptop face up:
2x USB-A on left side
HDMI and USB-C on right side
