Looking for a bit of advice on my Framework 11th gen mainboard/coolermaster combo.
Basically every now and then some of my peripherals will randomly disconnect and reconnect. I don’t think its the modules as I plugged my Streamdeck directly into the USB C port on the mainboard and still get the issue every now and then.
Sometimes my mouse will completely freeze up and refuses to work. This might be the USB hub being shot either.
My main question I suppose is: Is it worth it to just upgrade the mainboard to a newer generation? I got the 11th gen because I needed a solution fast and it was a good price. I am on BIOS 3.17 I think and am set up with a UPS (so I’ll try the BIOS update soon).
I have seen in other threads that the 11th gen is just a bit buggy in general.
So, do y’all think a BIOS upgrade can help smooth things out or is it worth it to go up to 13th Gen intel or even AMD?
