This display has a semi-busted backlight.
If anyone knows how to fix backlights, and wants to spend the time doing so, good luck!
Otherwise, afaict (via very bright flashlight), the display still works.
The backlight does occasionally turn on – but it also sometimes strobes… which… not fun.
(or at least, this is the perceived behavior I see – idk if anything about the cable coule cause the behavior I’m seeing – I haven’t tested a separate cable – but I did test this display on two different mainboards, and the display had the same behavior )
