I had discovered that Linux Mint does not support the wifi module “Out of the box”. After much research I had found out the Kernel that Mint uses is 5.4 and does not have the drivers loaded in. The drivers support 5.2 and above, however after installing them as Intel’s website instructs, it did not work. Most how to guides have web based tutorials for upgrading to a newer Kernel version. This does not work when you can’t use the wifi module. Eventually I found a guide that worked. I am now upgraded to Kernel version 5.13 . Link down below;
Yeah, the guide to install Linux Mint recommends using the Edge ISO to get the latest kernel.
