Hello fellow community, I just got my AI 370 last night and got my 7940hs swapped out without a hitch. One thing I am noticing (even after a clean wipe with DDU and fresh install of AMD Adrenaline) is that the CPU temp is not an option to select on the overlay anymore. I get everything I used to such as FPS, 99% lows, GPU clock, CPU Utilization etc, but I can’t get the CPU temp back. I’ve been trying to do extensive research on this and a lot of what I’m finding on reddit is to do a fresh install and reset the shader cache and I have. Even with DDU first, cleaning the old out. Am I missing something? Is this an AMD Adrenaline issue or something to do with the AI 300 series? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
FWIW I’m having the same result in Adrenaline. hwinfo gives me all my data flawlessly, so it seems specific to Adrenaline. I also went down the road you did (searching online, finding some alleged fixes on reddit and other forums, trying what was suggested, and seeing no change).
I also tried updating to the latest released AMD drivers, saw no change, downgraded to the released Framework drivers, and again saw no change. Interesting!
What I find interesting is I am still using the same gpu, same drivers/chipset and same version of Adrenaline as I was before the swap and it was working then. Looking up the chipset supports both the 7040 series and the AI 300.
