Seems like the AX210 are supported but not “officially”
what about the RZ616? is that supported?
i might go RZ717 but afraid about stability of wifi7 hardware since its new so i rather just use something 1 generation behind.

The AX210 is known to work well with the Ryzen AI 3000 Series. If RZ616 is the card that came with the Ryzen 7040 Series, I can confirm that it doesn’t work with the Ryzen AI 3000 Series.
When I upgraded from 7640U to AI 9 HX 370, I had to upgrade the WiFi card as the one bundled with the 7640U wouldn’t work with the HX 370. Based on my research, I went with the AX210 and it’s been working flawlessly with the HX 370.
The RZ717 works with the HX 370 but it suffers from stability issues (there are numerous posts on that on this forum). However, it likely will mature over time. The AX210 seems to be the most pragmatic options if you want stability and performance that’s at least as good as the RZ717.
thanks for the reply. i ended up picking up a RZ717 just to play around with, but also an AX210 like you rec’d. Thank you!
For WiFi 7, the current best option for AMD systems is the QCNCM865 from Qualcomm.
I’m using it on my FW13 AMD 7040 for a while and works pretty good.
