AMD FW 13 cannot drive external 5k at 70Hz (Fedora 39)

I have an external LG 5k monitor. When I downscale the resolution to 3440x1440, I can select 70Hz. When I select the 5120x2160, the highest I get is 50Hz.

I am on Fedora 39 on my AMD Framework (13.5inch). Is someone able to get the full, higher refresh rate on their AMD Framework?

What is your signal path? Are you using an HDMI module?

My understanding is that the HDMI modules only support HDMI 2.0b, which does not support 5K at that refresh rate. Try using either a Type C or Display Port module if you can.

I do use a USB-C module actually! Both top sides (left and right) do not work!

I tried slot #4 (Expansion Card Functionality on Framework Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen™ 7040 Series)) and it can run the external 5k monitor at 70Hz.
