I have the Framework 16 on Linux Mint using the integrated graphics. I keep getting some error followed by GPU Reset only when I’m using a specific web app (xterm.js) using Firefox. Is this an OS error/driver issue (I know mint is not a validated OS) or could this be a hardware issue? This use case is the only time I’ve seen which causes this and it does not occur even when using GPU heavy applications.
What kernel version are you using?
If possible try updating to the latest version that mint supports.
This issue is very likely a GPU driver issue so see if you can update amdgpu.

It doesn’t seem like apt has any updates for amdgpu. Maybe I should try the proprietary drivers?
I do not believe those have been used to anyone’s benefit since the year 1801.
They’ll probably make things worse.
