has anyone experienced this? i used to experience it on arch especially in situations of high load, and i experienced it once so far on fedora too. there is nothing on the logs, no crash info or anything.
I’ve also experienced this, particularly after long idle periods like overnight.
I had this issue for a while, turns out the battery connector wasn’t plugged in all the way.
that’s not it apparently, i checked a few times. i still have this issue
I don’t know if it is related, but I just started seeing random “crashes” (more specifically, the screen completely locks up and turns on-and-off until I reboot) in a recent update (I’m on Fedora 40). Inspecting journalctl, it seems to be a page fault somewhere in the AMD GPU driver.
i used to have that issue on arch linux. since moving to silverblue i don’t have that issue anymore. they might be unrelated, but who knows.
