Background: I currenlty have a Framework 13 AMD Ryzen 7 - 7840U with Kingston Fury Impact 2 X 32GB 5600 DDR5 CL40 KF556S40IB-32 RAM running smoothly.
Inquiry: I wish to upgrade the mainboard to AMD Ryzen AI9 HX 370. Will my existing Kingston 2X32GB RAM listed above work with this newer AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series?
I upgraded the board from Ryzen9 7940HS → Ryzen AI9 HX370 and during the upgrade moved my Kingston Fury Impact DDR5 5600 CL40 64GB (2x32GB) to the new board and no issues. I am running both Win11 and Ubuntu 25.10 and no issues. I can only speak from “my” personal experience.
Only issue I have is Edge sometimes freezes when I use 2 Windows, one playing back youtube. That is too weird of an issue to actually be due to memory instability and looks more like a bug between Edge and AMD GPU drivers…
