[Solved] - System doesn't boot with new Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 5600 MHz CL40 SO-DIMM 32GB

Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 5600 MHz CL40 SO-DIMM 32GB Memory Module Packing
doesn’t boot with my Laptop 13 DIY Edition (AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series)

It doesn’t matter if one or two stick in motherboard.
I waited for more than 5 minutes each try.

I guess I have to return RAM back to the shop and stay for a while with old 16 GB RAM.

I remember someone else recently had an issue with a ram kit on the newer AI300 series boards. They may just be a bit trickier on the timings that they will allow vs. the older processors. Kingston is a legit brand, just might have been some JEDEC timing that the board just did not want to POST with.

Seen lots of success with Cruicial, GSkill, and a few others. I would have thought Kingston would have worked just fine though the CL40 (or a subtiming thing) might be the issue.

Let us know how it turns out!

I’ve return back my 32 GB RAM sticks and got the same but 64 GB and it works.

Thanks to https://www.verkkokauppa.com/ for my experiments.
