Amdgpu kernel panics / display crashes

I would also be getting AMD timeouts and game crashes on Windows if I was to install AMD Adrenalin directly from AMD. Was able to resolve it by using AMD cleanup tool and using the framework desktop driver bundle. Both have the same version 25.9.1, but with the AMD tool included the installer manager and caused many of my games to crash or stutter very drastically and also pop-up the ‘amd driver timeout’ window right in front of my game that’s still playing.

Errors like these.

I didn’t have these issues at first right out of the box since I just decided to directly install windows fresh, windows updates, and then the framework desktop driver bundle. I must have randomly decided to download the AMD exe to update the drivers and see if there’s any newer updates available. Then to suddenly start stuttering in games and having driver timeouts. Resorted to just using AMD cleanup, and re-do the framework driver bundle and hadn’t had these errors since and had smooth game play again.

Just providing this info for any Windows users and to probably populate some google search results, was struggling and thinking something went wrong hardware wise. Linux however, seems to be stuck making sure you just get the latest distro and kernel updates.
