Any brave souls tried to take the Framework Desktop on a plane?

Curious if anyone here has tried taking this thing on a plane. Any trip I’ve taken by car it’s very easy to travel with, but it seems like plane travel would bring dangers. Like TSA could be rough on it during inspection, or if I put it in my carry on luggage if the flight was oversold I’d have to check it. Or if I put it in my backpack and packed it as a personal item it would either not fit in the seat in front of me or I’d kind of hurt it, unless I added padding which would make it too big.

Has anyone tried to do this?

I thought you meant …use it on a plane and was very confused. I’ve traveled with it in my backpack before for events if that helps. I have one of the LTT bags so I don’t even feel it. My personal experience though, it would depend on the kind of bag you have I’d imagine. Also worth checking with your specific airline in case they have any restrictions.

Oh no, its Gordon Ramsey - look out for the bad language … :open_mouth:

I’ve traveled with bigger desktops, even one with liquid cooling. The only issue I’ve had was being forced to check my carry-on since the overhead was full. Luckily didn’t get damaged.
