Yes, depending on where you are from, they’d call them SIM card dongles or adapters. They tend to be USB Modems, and are fairly easily available on Amazon and other places.
We needed specific driver/launcher to connect to the data network on Windows, but worked very easily on Linux.

As of today, most USB modem adapters you will find on the web are probably risky Chinese stuff. I highly recommend buying instead a mobile hotspot router (still, you should do some research) from a reputable brand.

My ghetto solution: power bank + 2nd phone + NFC tag (to activate / deactivate hotspot on the phone)
