Anyone else having trouble with the Fingerprint scanner not recognizing their fingers?

I’m having trouble with the fingerprint scanner on my framework.

I’ve added both my index fingers and for the first month or two things were fine, but now, the system just wont recognize either finger.

If I try to update or re-add a finger, I get an error telling me it’s too similar to an existing finger, but then it never accepts the finger when I scan it, I have to use the pin every time.

i5 running Win 10.

Try the script linked here to remove your old fingerprint and after that, enroll a new one.

Have you enrolled fingerprints with the reader on another OS before? The reader saves them locally, so you might have to delete the old ones first. There is a python script for that, I’ll update my reply when I found it.
